The Four Thieves Vinegar Collective is a health centered collective operating at the intersection of citizen science, activism, and medical democratization dedicated to bringing access to medicines and medical technologies to those who need them but don’t have them. In 2022 I was approached to refresh their visual identity to align with their mission and social space. My design combined with their brilliance unite to build a better world.
In December 2024 Prospect Magazine counted Four Thieves Vinegar Collective among their top 25 Thinkers For An Uncertain World. Great design opens doors! Since brand refresh they've graced the main stage of DEFCON, Sky Talks, and HOPE Conference in addition to countless interviews in media you know: Wired, Newsweek, iHeartRadio, KQED, Discovery News, MIT Technology Review.
They're doing the important work to democratize access to medicines, medical technology, and healthcare knowledge while appealing to tech-savvy, counter-culture audiences at risk for predatory misinformation and pseudoscience due to inaccessibility of high quality peer reviewed health knowledge.
A bespoke brand guide fit for a tech giant, the likes of which rivals Facebook's Little Red Book, catalogs my years long collaboration with the team: Their projects, and my pitches resulting in a wide assortment of collateral including but not limited to LOGOS, DOCUMENTS, WEBSITE, PRESENTATION ASSETS, SHORTFORM VIDEO THUMBNAILS, APP USER INTERFACES, and beyond. A one-of-a-kind organization deserves parity in its visual positioning.
